Participants will engage in sketching an asset map.
Cross Cultural Communication
This 3-hour workshop is designed to help participants draw upon existing (as well as build new) knowledge and skills to strengthen their capacity to work across cultures and in diverse communities. The central theme throughout this workshop is relationships. It challenges participants to reflect on what is necessary for building growth-fostering relationships. It makes connections between communication and culture, application of cultural competency models, techniques and standards, and relational competence. References and resources that can support the cross-cultural communication process will be provided.
