The Drug Utilization Review (DUR) Board will meet on February 18 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Meeting Room 6, Empire State Plaza, Concourse Level, Albany.

Interested parties must notify the Drug Utilization Review Manager, at least two (2) weeks prior to the meeting, of their request to address the Board during the public comment period. Requests may be made by calling 518-486-3209 or e-mailing ppno@health.state.ny.us (please reference DUR Board).

The Establishment Committee of the Public Health Council will meet on February 23 at 10:00 a.m., at the New York State Department of Health, 90 Church Street, 4^th Floor, Room A & B, New York, New York.

The Establishment Committee of the Public Health Council regularly meets prior to the full Public Health Council meeting to review and provide recommendations on:

1. Certificate of Need applications for the establishment or establishment and construction of new health care facilities,
2. Certificates and Amendments to Certificates of Incorporation, and
3. Applications for Licensed Home Health Agencies.

The Committee also deliberates on issues related to the delivery of care in health facilities (including freestanding ambulatory surgery (ASC) and end stage renal dialysis (ESRD) facilities) and reviews position papers governing the need for, and extent of services, provided.

* * Anyone wishing to attend this meeting must email lat02@health.state.ny.us so your name can be placed on a security list to gain entrance into the building, with a picture identification.

The Home Health Care Reimbursement Workgroup will meet on Tuesday, 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m., at the New York State Department of Health offices in Delmar, 161 Delaware Avenue, Main Conference Room.

The Workgroup was created by Section 125-d of Chapter 58 of the Laws of 2009.

The Health Research Science Board will hold a Regular Business Meeting from 10:00 a.m. – 12:45 p.m. at the NYS Department of Health Central NY Regional Office, Room 4A, 217 S. Salina Street, Syracuse, NY. Additionally, the HRSB will hold two committee meetings. The meeting schedule is as follows:

• Committee on Program Needs and Effectiveness 8:30 a.m. – 9:45 a.m.
• Regular Business Meeting 10:00 a.m. – 12:45 p.m.
• Committee on Funding and Outreach 1:45 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.

The Board solicits, receives and reviews applications for awards from the Breast Cancer Research and Education Fund. It also reviews and approves or denies applications for access to confidential pesticide information.
