New York State Innovation in Breast Cancer Research and Education Awards 2008: Call for Nominations

The New York State Breast and Cervical Cancer Detection and Education Program Advisory Council is calling for nominations for the 2008 New York State Innovation in Breast Cancer Research and Education Awards.

Awards will be given in any of the following categories

  • Health Professional
  • Consumer
  • Non-profit Organization

Who is Eligible?

  1. Nominated individuals must be New York State residents.
  2. Nominated organizations must be incorporated in the State of New York and registered with the Secretary of State.
  3. Nominees must have demonstrated some or all of the following:
    • Long-term commitment to breast cancer research and/or education
    • Innovation and creativity in their efforts
    • Significant impact on the lives of New York State residents
    • Ability to collaborate with others in the community
    • Service to underserved populations

Who is Not Eligible?

  1. Individuals or organizations that have received this award within the last ten years. View a list of past awardees (PDF, 64KB, 2pg.).
  2. Council members and members of their families.

Deadline
