State Board Training Consortium
The State Board Training Consortium's Achieving Excellence in Governance Training Series is intended to provide board members of nonprofits with the information and tools necessary to carry out their very important responsibilities and obligations. Trainings are open to board members of nonprofits funded or affiliated with the New York State Department of Health, Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services, Office of Mental Health and Office of Children and Family Services.
SBTC trainings are beneficial for new board members as well as highly seasoned board members. The trainings cover issues relevant to large established organizations as well nonprofits newly funded by one of the participating state agencies.
