Authorized Training Agency Initiative (ATA)

What is an ATA?

  • An organization authorized by the New York State Department of Health to conduct AIDS Institute approved HIV/AIDS trainings.
  • Hospitals, community based organizations and other agencies interested in providing HIV/AIDS training are encouraged to participate.

Why become an ATA?

  • Meet the HIV/AIDS training needs of staff and volunteers through a flexible approach to training delivery.
  • Become recognized as a credible training resource in your community.
  • Provide your staff with an opportunity to develop their training skills and knowledge of HIV/AIDS.
  • Have access to material and policy updates from the AIDS Institute.
